Data Processing

Unlike many of our competitors we can receive your data in practically any format you can think of and convert it into something useable for processing. This makes us extremely flexible and user friendly.

From here, if required, we can "clean" your data (for e.g. capitalise any names where appropriate). We can also de-duplicate your data, add default salutations and "build" salutation fields (with our sophisticated software we can ascertain whether a record should be 'Mr' or 'Ms' by scrutinising the first name field).

Our ability to manipulate your data exactly to your own requirements means that you get the message across professionally before any of the letter text has even been read.

If your data file consists of more than 4,000 records we can make you substantial savings on your Royal Mail postage costs via a process called Mailsort. This Royal Mail discounted service can seem quite complex so please call for any advice or information you may need.

Our extensive knowledge of the plastic card industry means that we are also proficient in processing data meant specifically for card personalisation. Again, please contact us for more in depth detail on this service.

Laser Personalisation

Our modern laser equipment is capable of lasering various media types. Our machines are very flexible and can accept numerous sizes and formats. So even if you think you have a strange size requirement don't be surprised if we can personalise it! Of course we offer both simplex (one side) and duplex (double sided) lasering.

Finishing and Folding

Without question the majority of mail packs are folded to either DL (1/3 A4) or C5 (1/2 A4). From Pen to Post can fold to both, in all styles, including roll folds, gate folds and Z folds.

Enclosing

From Pen to Post can basically enclose any size pack with any number of inserts. Our quality checks and procedures mean that double enclosures and mismatched items are virtually impossible.
